On Sunday, 4 October 2026, join us for a beautiful guided hike in Xerovouni, Evia, from Rachi Syka, on the saddle below Mount Dirfys, to Konisma Spring. Along the way, we will walk through fir forests, pass mountain springs and enjoy some of Evia’s most impressive mountain scenery.
🔶 What You’ll Experience
An easy Level A hiking experience that brings together the forests of Xerovouni, the natural springs of mountain Evia and a relaxed group lunch in the picturesque village of Steni.
Our day begins at Rachi Syka, on the saddle below Mount Dirfys, where we will follow a beautiful trail beneath the rocky slopes of Xerovouni.
The route winds through fir forest, with peaceful clearings, mountain springs and viewpoints overlooking Mount Dirfys. The shade of the trees, the fresh mountain air and the changing scenery make this an ideal autumn day out in nature.

🔶 From Rachi Syka to Konisma Spring
An easy forest route beneath the striking rocky slopes of Xerovouni, with natural springs and open views towards Mount Dirfys.
Starting from the saddle below Mount Dirfys, we head towards Mesorachi, following a trail among fir trees and black pines.
The trail continues below Xerovouni’s rocky slopes and leads us to Tembla Spring. At several points, the forest opens up to reveal beautiful views of the Mount Dirfys massif.
We then pass through Korakofolia, crossing small clearings and old stone terraces before reaching Konisma Spring, one of the route’s most distinctive natural landmarks.
From there, we continue to the paved road, where our coach will pick us up for the short transfer to Steni, Evia.
