Hiking and Yoga on Mount Hymettus

On Sunday, 4 October 2026, Wanderlust Outdoor Activities & Travel invites you to Hymettus for an autumn experience combining a hike through the Kaisariani Aesthetic Forest with a yoga class in nature.

🔶 Hiking and Yoga on Hymettus

We’ll leave the pace of the city behind for a while and follow the trails of Hymettus among pine trees and shrubs. The hike will be followed by a gentle yoga practice focused on movement, breathing and relaxation.

It’s a chance to enjoy the autumn landscape, walk at the group’s pace and share an experience outdoors.

🔶 The Hiking Route

The hike starts at the Kaisariani Fire Lookout and follows a circular route along the trails of Hymettus. We’ll walk through the forest and pass spots with views across the Athens basin.

• Total ascent: 180 m
• Total descent: 180 m
• Difficulty: A
• Hiking time: approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes without breaks, or approximately 2 hours including breaks

🔶 The Yoga Class

The practice will be led by certified yoga teacher Katerina Karasmani. The class lasts 60 minutes and is suitable for beginners. Gentle poses and breathing exercises will give us time to move, unwind and enjoy our surroundings.
