🔶 A Few Words About Vamvakou
Vamvakou is a historic mountain village built on the slopes of Mount Parnon, in a landscape where tradition is still very much alive. Stone houses, cobbled alleys and the central square dominated by a large plane tree reflect the authentic mountain architecture of the area.
In recent years the village has been experiencing a remarkable revival through the Vamvakou Revival initiative, which aims to highlight the village and reconnect the local community with nature, culture and its heritage. This blend of authenticity and contemporary revival makes Vamvakou a destination that truly stands out and gives our hike an even more special character.
