Hiking in Parnitha Mountain

On Sunday 23/3 we will hike on one of the most beautiful paths of Mount Parnitha. The round of the highest peaks, Karavola with 1413m. and of Ornio with 1350m altitude. Ideal for children too!

A circular route starting from the Bafi refuge and heading towards the Skipiza spring which is the highest spring of Mount Parnitha. Then we will go up to the fire tower which has an incredible view, weather permitting, towards the Saronic and the gulf of Euboean with Dirfi summit in the background. Leaving the fire station, we will pass through position of Maderes, Temples and Bilkiniza and we will circle the second highest peak of Parnitha, Ornio, passing through Samari and above Kandalidi. Most of the route is in a forest with firs and black pine trees.

Meeting point at the parking of the Buffy refuge at 08:45.
