Mount Olympus Three Days All inclusive
Three days all inclusive in mount Olympus! Strictly for 11 participants !!! A private trip to the mythical mountain!
Climb to 2,500 meters in the easiest way! From the Christakis shelter where we will spend the night, 2.5 km away from the 3rd highest peak of Olympus!
• Departure from Athens to village of Kalyvia Elassonas on Friday 12/07, 09:30 am
• Ascent with 4×4 vehicles to the Christakis Refuge at 2,500 meters altitude in an alpine field! This will enable us not to carry a 15kg backpack for 14 km hike with total ascent 1400 m.
• On Saturday ascending to the third highest peak of Greece in Skolio 2905 m and Skala peak 2882 m and returning back to Christakis refuge ( Duration 5 hours and 450 m total ascend, level B)
• Ascent of a selected group to Mytika's summit (2918m), the highest peak in Greece, with mandatory provided mountaineering equipment and route via Kakoskala.
• Saturday afternoon: Short hike of 1 and a half hours to enjoy the sunset from Christakis Peak!
• Sunday: Morning awakening and visit to the village of Kokkinopilos, the highest village of Olympus! Then departure for the Kurti farm for wine tasting and lunch! Finally, before the way back, we will visit the Orlias Waterfall for a swim!!
• Arrival in Athens 22:30.
Meeting point :
Agios Antonios metro station at 09:00 am.
Included :
- All meals by a person who will cook just for us, mainly with raw materials from the region. (Preparation dinner, breakfast, lunch, Saturday dinner (barbeque), Sunday breakfast)
- Coffee or Tea and water during our stay at the refugee
- Drink in the village of Kokkinopilos on Sunday morning.
- Fees for 3 mountain guides for the hike
- Travel expenses to and from Athens with a 9-seater van and 1 car.
- Drive by 4X4 vehicles and jeeps to the refugee.
- Transportation from Kalyvia village to the village of Kokkinopilos and the winery of Kourtis.
