Hiking in wetland of Tziros in Pavliani

On Saturday 30/11 we will hike on a nice circular route in the ravine of Pavliani and the wetland of Tziros, which route is riverside and a natural continuation of the aesthetic park.

Leaving behind the aesthetic park of Pavliani, we head for about 2 km on a very gentle course without inclines in green vegetation passing the old water mill of Theoharis.

Our path will continue for some meters on a dirt road, between hydrophilic plants and clumps of tall reeds.

Then we approach the wetland of Tziros where the rare fish of “Attikopsaro” lives and the group will stop for a few minutes.

From this point to the end of the route we will walk parallel to the Asopos river, passing by waterfalls, over wooden bridges, and running water in a green environment of plane trees, maples, walnuts and chestnuts.

The route is also suitable for children over 8 years of age.

Lunch will follow in a local tavern. Those who wish to have a Vegan option should mention it as a comment during registration.
