Hiking in Steni,Dirfys

On Sunday 25/2 we will hike in the aesthetic forest of Steni, at the foot of Dirfis and climb to the Michalis Nikolaou refuge.

Our hike will take place through a green path with firs, koumarias and skina. After passing the Sykamino spring we will reach Elatia which, as its name indicates, is a fir forest and after half an hour the refuge will emerge in front of us at 1120m. altitude.

Our descent will be by a different path. The view from the Mesorachi position allows us to see the gulf of Euboea and the Aegean sea! Then we will cross the chestnut forest! The route is green and due to the stream there are several plane trees and also firs!

It will be followed by a meal in a tavern in the village of the picturesque Steni and anyone who wishes will enjoy a walk in its beautiful alleys!

Those who wish to have a Vegan option should mention it as a comment during registration.

Participants should be in good physical condition, previous A level experience.
