On Sunday, May 18, join Wanderlust Outdoor Activities for an easy circular hike in the heart of Mount Parnitha National Park — ideal for nature lovers, beginners, and anyone seeking a peaceful escape into the forest.

This 4-hour guided route blends natural beauty with historical significance, taking you through lush pine forests, mountain springs, and quiet landmarks that tell stories of the past.

Our trail

We begin our hike at Mola, near the small chapel of Agios Petros, and follow a forest trail toward the Samari area. From there, we continue through Kantalidi, moving gently uphill under the cool shade of fir trees.

Our main stop is the Flabouri mountain refuge, where we take a break to rest, enjoy a coffee, and recharge. The route then descends toward Mesiano Nero, one of the most refreshing water spots on the mountain, and continues to the Monument of Executed Civilians by the Nazis — a solemn reminder of history embedded in nature.

The hike concludes where it started, at Agios Petros chapel in Mola, with hearts full and minds clear.
