Hiking in Hymettus Moutain

On Sunday 06/10  we will hike in the aesthetic forest of Hymettus!

A beautiful circular route will take place, starting from the Kaisariani "Dimitris Karamolegos" fire station.

The group will initially move to Kalopoula, where the first short stop will be made. From Kalopoula we continue to the small church of the Ascension where we will move uphill for 80 meters with an increased slope in the aesthetic forest. At the end of the climb we move downhill to the area of ​​botanical interest in the area of ​​Kaisariani.

Then we will approach the Holy Monastery of Kaisariani, where it is located in the green valley on the western slope of Hymettus and towards the hill of Taxiarchon and its early Christian monuments. The circular route ends at the fire tower of Kaisariani.
